Shallot Herb Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Forget those mushy Brussel Sprouts from childhood nightmares. Tart balsamic vinegar, mildly sweet shallots, dash of parmesan cheese — roasted to buttery perfection. Add some bacon and you’re cooking like a modern day chef.
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Toss 1 lb of halved, cleaned Brussels sprouts in oil and place cut side down on baking sheet. Roast in oven for 30 min until starting to brown.
- Stir in 3 discs of butter. Return to oven for 5 to 10 min until cooked.
- Toss with 1 disc of butter (or more) and add salt (or cooked bacon). Serve hot.
